About NBTExplorer

NBTExplorer is an open-source NBT editor for all common sources of NBT data. It's mainly intended for editing Minecraft game data.

How to install NBTExplorer

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.jaquadro.NBTExplorer
  4. Open NBTExplorer once it finishes installing.
