Heroic is an Open Source Games Launcher. Right now it supports launching games from the

Epic Games Store using Legendary, GOG Games using our custom implementation with gogdl

and Amazon Games using Nile.

How to install Heroic

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl
  4. Open Heroic once it finishes installing.

Is Heroic free to download?

Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Heroic is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.

How do I install Heroic from the command line?

With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub com.heroicgameslauncher.hgl. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.

Is Heroic safe?

Heroic downloads directly from the developer. As always, scan the installer with your antivirus and choose Custom setup to skip any bundled extras.
