About JSettlers

JSettlers is an open source remake of the game The Settlers III by BlueByte. The main goal of the game is to build an economy and fight other players.

JSettlers needs the graphics files from an original Settlers III installation. The demo version work as well but only contains Roman and Amazon graphics files.

How to install JSettlers

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.paulwedeck.settlers-remake
  4. Open JSettlers once it finishes installing.
