About DDNet
DDraceNetwork (DDNet) is an actively maintained version of DDRace,
a Teeworlds modification with a unique cooperative gameplay.
Help each other play through custom maps with up to 64 players,
compete against the best in international tournaments, design your own maps,
or run your own server. The official servers are around the world.
All ranks made on official servers are available worldwide and you can collect points!
How to install DDNet
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub tw.ddnet.ddnet
- Open DDNet once it finishes installing.

Is DDNet free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where DDNet is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install DDNet from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub tw.ddnet.ddnet. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
Is DDNet safe?
DDNet downloads directly from the developer. As always, scan the installer with your antivirus and choose Custom setup to skip any bundled extras.
