About Yet Another Framework Interface
It is written in Python with a GTK4 Adwaita theme, and uses the CrOS_EC_Python library to communicate with the EC.
YAFI has the capability for the following features:
Fan control and temperature monitoring
LED control
Battery statistics
Battery limiting
Hardware information
You will need to install the udev rules to allow non-root access to the EC device. See the README for more information.
Alternatively, you can run curl -Lfs yafi.stevetech.au/udev.sh | sudo sh to install the udev rules.

How to install Yet Another Framework Interface
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub au.stevetech.yafi
- Open Yet Another Framework Interface once it finishes installing.
