About YASS
YASS is initiated as c++ rewrite of the outdated shadowsocks-libev package and provide the similar functionalities.
During the recent development, it also supports naiveproxy protocol which is more efficient protocol.
Compared with shadowsocks-libev, it not only contains the client cli command and server cli command,
but also it contains a qt6 graphical interface which is more friendly to the new users.
How to install YASS
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.chilledheart.yass
- Open YASS once it finishes installing.
