Wallrus lets you create colorful abstract wallpapers.

Start with one of several preset patterns and add effects like distortion, lighting, and noise.

Pick a gradient from hundreds of bundled palettes or create your own, then export

or set directly as your desktop wallpaper.

How to install Wallrus

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.megakode.Wallrus
  4. Open Wallrus once it finishes installing.
