About VSCodium - Insiders

VSCodium Insiders combines the simplicity of a code editor with what developers need for the

core edit-build-debug cycle.

This is the telemetry-less version of Visual Studio Code, packaged into a Flatpak. This

repackaging is not supported by Microsoft.

How to install VSCodium - Insiders

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.vscodium.codium-insiders
  4. Open VSCodium - Insiders once it finishes installing.
