Varia is better than your browser at downloading stuff.
Supporting videos and torrents on top of just regular files, and with a variety of advanced features wrapped inside an easy to understand interface, Varia is both quite powerful and dead simple to use:
Download anything you want quickly - potentially faster than your browser, continue incomplete downloads even after reboots
Download video and audio (as well as whole playlists) from thousands of websites (anything supported by yt-dlp) including YouTube, TikTok, Twitter etc
Integrate with Firefox and Chrome (or any Chromium based browser like Brave or Opera) to redirect downloads
Schedule downloads with a powerful scheduler function allowing for custom timespans for each day of the week
Download from protected areas with basic auth and cookies.txt import support, as well as an option to automatically transfer your browser cookies through the extension
Control a remote aria2 instance running on any server through Remote Mode

- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.giantpinkrobots.varia
- Open Varia once it finishes installing.

Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Varia is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install Varia from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub io.github.giantpinkrobots.varia. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
