About Untix
Untix is an unofficial client for WebUntis, which focusses on the features used by students.
While it might also work for teachers, this isn't tested and many features may be missing.
Supported features are:
Timetable
Homework
Teacher lookup
Messages (inbox only)
Absences (read only)
External services (embedded webpage)
Note that depending on your server configuration, not all features will be available
How to install Untix
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub page.codeberg.ostfriese4.Untis
- Open Untix once it finishes installing.

Is Untix free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Untix is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install Untix from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub page.codeberg.ostfriese4.Untis. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
Is Untix safe?
Untix downloads directly from the developer. As always, scan the installer with your antivirus and choose Custom setup to skip any bundled extras.
