About Typing Turtle

Need some help typing? Here you will learn the best way to hold your hands in order for you to become a faster typist! It gradually introduces the keys on the keyboard through a series of lessons, until the student has learned the entire keyboard.

How to install Typing Turtle

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub org.sugarlabs.TypingTurtle
  4. Open Typing Turtle once it finishes installing.
