About Trelby
A free, multiplatform, feature-rich screenwriting program! Trelby is simple, fast, elegant, and infinitely configurable. Trelby is free software licensed under the GPL Version 2.0.
It can, but not limited to: import multiple formats such as plain text, trelby, fountain, or final draft files, proper formatting PDF export along with listed imports as export, very precise reporting and name database, as well as multiple viewing modes such as draft or WYSIWYG.
How to install Trelby
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub org.trelby.Trelby
- Open Trelby once it finishes installing.
