About Transmission Remote
Transmission Remote Gtk allows you to remotely manage the Transmission BitTorrent client using its RPC interface. You can use it to to manage torrents (start/stop/verify/reannounce/remove/remove and delete), add new ones (it works as a .torrent fle handler from a webbrowser), and configure settings on transmission-daemon.
How to install Transmission Remote
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.TransmissionRemoteGtk
- Open Transmission Remote once it finishes installing.
