About Ristretto

Ristretto is an image viewer for the Xfce desktop environment.

The Ristretto Image Viewer is an application that can be used to view

and scroll through images, run a slideshow of images, open images with

other applications like an image-editor or configure an image as the

desktop wallpaper.

How to install Ristretto

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub org.xfce.ristretto
  4. Open Ristretto once it finishes installing.
