In recent versions of ImageMagick has been added a security policy that blocks manipulations in PDF files. This affects PDFTricks operations. To correct this change the settings of your ImageMagick installation. Check the homepage for instructions.

How to install PDF Tricks

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.github.muriloventuroso.pdftricks
  4. Open PDF Tricks once it finishes installing.
