About Nitrokey App

Nitrokey is an open source/open hardware USB key supporting secure encryption and signing.

This package installs the official application to manage the features of the different USB keys.

How to install Nitrokey App

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.nitrokey.nitrokey-app
  4. Open Nitrokey App once it finishes installing.
