About Multiplex
Multiplex is an app to watch torrents together, providing an experience similar to
Apple's SharePlay and Amazon's Prime Video Watch Party.
It enables you to:
Stream any file directly using a wide range of video and audio formats with the mpv
video player
Host online watch parties while preserving your privacy by synchronizing video
playback with friends without a central server
Bypass internet restrictions by optionally separating the backend and user interface
into two separate components
How to install Multiplex
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.pojtinger.felicitas.Multiplex
- Open Multiplex once it finishes installing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Multiplex free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Multiplex is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install Multiplex from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub com.pojtinger.felicitas.Multiplex. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
Is Multiplex safe?
