About LMMS
LMMS is a music production application. It allows the creation
of loops, synthesizing and mixing sounds, arranging samples having
fun with your MIDI-keyboard and much more... It combines the
features of a tracker-/sequencer-program and those of powerful
synthesizers, samplers, effects etc. in a modern, user-friendly and
easy to use graphical user-interface.
How to install LMMS
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.lmms.LMMS
- Open LMMS once it finishes installing.

Is LMMS free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where LMMS is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install LMMS from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub io.lmms.LMMS. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
