About iptux
iptux is an “IP Messenger” client. The features of iptux include:
auto-detect other clients on the intranet.
send/recv messages to other clients.
send/recv files to other clients.
share your files to other cliens (with optional password protection).
It is (supposedly) compatible with 飞鸽传书 (Feige) and 飞秋 (FeiQ) from China,
and with the original “IP Messenger” clients from Japan, including g2ipmsg and
xipmsg in Debian.
How to install iptux
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.iptux_src.iptux
- Open iptux once it finishes installing.

Is iptux free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where iptux is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install iptux from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub io.github.iptux_src.iptux. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
Is iptux safe?
