About Hideout
Hideout is a minimal and secure desktop application for file encryption and decryption,
powered by GnuPG. It provides a simple drag-and-drop interface to protect your sensitive files.
Simple UI: Drag and drop files to encrypt or decrypt.
Secure: Uses GPG symmetric encryption.

How to install Hideout
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub it.andreafontana.hideout
- Open Hideout once it finishes installing.

Is Hideout free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Hideout is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install Hideout from the command line?
With Flatpak, run: flatpak install flathub it.andreafontana.hideout. This installs it from the official source and keeps it updated.
Is Hideout safe?
