Frescobaldi is an advanced text editor to edit LilyPond sheet music files.
It aims to be powerful, yet lightweight and easy to use.

Frescobaldi is designed to run on all major operating systems (Linux, macOS
and Windows). It is named after Girolamo Frescobaldi (1583-1643), an Italian
composer of keyboard music in the late Renaissance and early Baroque period.
How to install Frescobaldi
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub org.frescobaldi.Frescobaldi
- Open Frescobaldi once it finishes installing.
