About Escritoire
Escritoire helps you to create standards-compliant letters with ease.
Just write your text, select a style and Escritoire will do the rest.
You can store your correspondents in an integrated addressbook and use different sender addresses.
Currently, Escritoire is limited to DIN 5008 letters.
Escritoire uses the power of the Typst typesetting system.
How to install Escritoire
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub page.codeberg.dudenix.escritoire
- Open Escritoire once it finishes installing.

Is Escritoire free to download?
Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where Escritoire is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install Escritoire from the command line?
