About DSView
DSView is a GUI program for supporting various instruments from DreamSourceLab, including logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc. DSView is based on the sigrok project.
The sigrok project aims at creating a portable, cross-platform, Free/Libre/Open-Source signal analysis software suite that supports various device types (such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and more).
It is necessary to add the following line to the /etc/udev/rules.d/60-dreamsourcelab.rules file:
SUBSYSTEM=="usb", ATTRS{idVendor}=="2a0e", MODE="0666"
How to install DSView
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub com.dreamsourcelab.DSView
- Open DSView once it finishes installing.

Yes. The Download button sends you to flathub.org, the developer's official site, where DSView is available to download. Flatnic doesn't host or modify any files.
How do I install DSView from the command line?
