About Concessio

Concessio helps you understand and convert between unix permissions representations

Convert between symbolic and numeric representations of UNIX file permissions

Use toggle buttons to update the symbolic and numeric fields

Open a file to read it's permissions and convert them

Calculate umask values and see the resulting permissions for new files and directories

Open the help dialog to read and understand the UNIX permissions system

How to install Concessio

  1. Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
  2. Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
  3. Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub io.github.ronniedroid.concessio
  4. Open Concessio once it finishes installing.
