About Bitcoin Core
Bitcoin Core connects to the Bitcoin peer-to-peer network to download and
fully validate blocks and transactions. It also includes a wallet and
graphical user interface.
How to install Bitcoin Core
- Click Download — the developer's official website opens in a new tab.
- Download the latest version there and run it. Choose Custom/Advanced where offered, and skip any bundled extras.
- Prefer the command line? With Flatpak you can install and update it with: flatpak install flathub org.bitcoincore.bitcoin-qt
- Open Bitcoin Core once it finishes installing.
